The Graveyard Book. By Neil Gaiman.
the graveyard book is about a killer named jack who belongs to the jack of all trades, a secret organization that believes that someday there will a child that can live among both the living and the dead, to keep from the organization of dyeing out the jack of all trades has to kill that child before he grows to adulthood. that child just so happened to be Nobody Owens. at lest that's what he is known by once jack kills both of his parents and his sister. but little ole bud doesn't know any better and his life is spared when he climbs out of the crib and into the graveyard. There Mrs.Owens agrees to take care of him as his parents along with her husband Mr.Owens. and Silas, Who is not living but is not living but isn't dead, is Bod's guardian. Bod meets new friends along the way such as Scarlet, Liza Hempstock, and the Sleer. Scarlet suddenly moves away and is never to be seen away or so they thought when twelve years later she returns and reunites bod with jack thinking that hes safe but when jack and three other Jacks try to kill bod he quickly defeats them smart and resourcefully. after that Silas takes him out to celebrate and then he tells him that he may go free into the world because he is now an adult. all and all i would give this book 4/5 stars it was a good book and very unpredictable but it was quite boring at some parts and who wants to read a boring book? but yes i would recommend the book to anyone who wants to read something new or different.

welcome!!!
hi, and welcome to book it, the blog about books! I read often and figured this would be a great way to use my power for good and review teen books about everything, from some of the most popular or bestselling books on the market to some people may have never heard of. this year in literature my class will be reading a lot more than last year and that means more posts! lets just hope that I can keep up for I don't usually have a lot of free time to do these kinds of things and most of my past blogs have failed due to the fact that I haven't been able to update them enough. any way lets get started soon i will have my first post up about Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate events. * note this will include the whole series not each book in it! after that I will do a few of the books i read over the summer these will include: The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman, Flush by Carl Hiassen, The Sisterhood of the traveling pants by Ann Barshares, Every soul a star by Wendy Mass, and The Westing game by Ellen Raskin. Just to name a few. please look back here sometime this week and you may find these reviews and many more coming soon! thanks.
